Impressive! Non-PC research: I didn’t even know there was such a thing.
“Older whites” may actually be “older voters”. Without a negro or hispanic on the ticket to appeal to their basest racism those groups may go for a republican (or Trump). They’re not so easily fooled- as long as their SS checks aren’t threatened.

. . . the Democratic Party has no interest in protecting the interests of white people as a political or special interest group. Ditto the Republican Party.

In other words, if McCain and Romney had only come across in a more conservative and assertive manner, and had appealed to more white voters, they probably would have won.In other words, if McCain and Romney had been two completely different people, with different names, and different histories, and different politics...

A 2014 study by Professor Marisa Abrajano on the coming backlash to immigration policy not only explains the Donald Trump phenomenon, but also why the liberal media are so determined to destroy him. No one with even a hint of common sense needed a study to know that a backlash against the deliberate non-enforcement of immigration law would come the instant a politician of some stature began to tell the truth about it.

For some reason only few of the 16 GOP candidates seem to understand this very important point.

Excellent article.

Yes. Somebody finally said it. White lives matter.
Which means that White votes matter.
To: Bobalu
Yes it is kinda like having a freeper, but he has only been a Freeper for the last few years according to his record, unless he was taking other positions as cover and was conservative all along, but knew he couldn’t speak out lest the lib establishment just destroy him....
Time will tell.

Wha? How many FReepers are pro-abortion and pro-homo?
He’s not even close to the bare minimum positions needed to avoid a ban around here.

RINOs think they need the squishy middle to win when all they have to do is appeal to people sick of politics as usual.

If that happens it will confirm Bush and Clinton are just beltway insiders. inside the beltway vs outside the beltway.

Very good article, HM. Thx for the ping.
I did have a problem with this line though...
In other words, if McCain and Romney had only come across in a more conservative and assertive manner, and had appealed to more white voters, they probably would have won.
McCain and Romney lost because they didn't fight hard enough. In fact, I would say that Romney had it made until he choked in the 2nd debate with Obama. Romney was a nice guy and that's what killed it for him.
Fighting for the right to save the country requires every bit as much fight and courage as it must to pick up a rifle and go to the front lines.
McCain is a playboy and Romney is a nice Mormon boy.
Both are, to quote Trump, LOSERS.
