The media and the GOPe expected when they started their “amen chorus” about ‘how despicable Trump’s comments were,” (because they all “understand” what the public thinks) but it hasn’t happened and they are all standing around with their a$$es in their hands wondering why it didn’t work this time. It didn’t work because these two groups really have no idea what the average American thinks! Trump, in my opinion, didn’t go far enough telling the truth about McLame. He’s been a piece of crap for years and it has nothing to do with Vietnam! “War Hero” can’t be a substitute for real character forever. Go Trump!

I am of the same opinion, but...
keeping some powder dry would have a greater impact should McCain foolishly call him out again. And, as luck would have it, it appears that has happened.
So maybe it’s better this way.
