1. Was there a hot pursuit from the recruiting center to the reserve center?
2. Was any attempt made to wreck him en route?
3. Did the reserve center get a heads up that he was coming their way?
4. Why did it the 30 minutes to put him down? (If indeed the thing did go on for 30 minutes there.)
7 miles is a long time to drive, with traffic, to NOT be pursued
Immediately a call should have gone out and when (if) no one knew which direction the shooter went ... a fan call in all directions should have been made
Geeee ... if only militia's were actually a practice in American law enforcement ... you know .... like HAM operators are in weather emergencies
No one suspects THEM of subversion, and yet ... THEY can communicate instantaneously anywhere in the world.
We are also now finding out only his mother is Kuwaiti. He and his father are Palestinian as confirmed by Jordan. I suppose the media thought it would raise less ire, never mind he killed 5 American service members.
And again, our government failed us. All the outright crap we hear about all the security the FBI and DHS are supposed to provide shows us that all of the alphabet agencies are nothing more than outreach jobs programs for people who could not pick their noses with the instructions printed on their palms.
I’ll point out one odd fact that no journalist has caught up to yet.
This guy...graduated in the spring of 2013, as an electrical engineer. He goes and gets a internship with TVA in Tennessee. Oddly, because it’s a gov’t entity....it requires a security clearance and a drug test. Nineteen days after he starts this internship....they bring him in....and dismiss him (failed drug test). End of the deal.
Now, you’d sit there and think about this. Because of the failed clearance....it’ll come up, so getting a job later with a company that might do business with the gov’t on a contract....means another security clearance episode, and they will ask stupid questions which your boss will realize that you probably can’t pass the clearance and are of zero value to his company.
But there’s the thing....let’s say Muhammad had passed the clearance and gone onto a regular offer of electrical engineering with TVA. You realize....somewhere down the line....there’s Browns Ferry and the nuke plant. If he hadn’t failed....he’d be sitting there at the nuke plant in five to ten years....and likely causing an accident to trigger the deaths of just five DoD personnel.....but literally several thousand from radiation issues. In some ways, this was the better of all scenarios. However, it begs the question....how many other guys made it through the TVA clearance process and are Muslim? It might be curious to see this angle from a distance now and realize the potential impact.
Will more real info be released today?
