I recorded a good many hours and the POW/MIA hearings and watched them in the evenings. I thought with two Vietnam vets as chairmen, one a former POW, that we’d definitely get a thorough investigation. I’d read the book “Kiss the Boys Goodbye” and other information about the issue and was very interested.
It gradually become obvious that the purpose of that committee was not to bring forth all possible evidence, but to coverup as much as possible and to discredit any witnesses presenting evidence that some men might still be in SE Asia. McCain was outright hostile and rude to some witnesses trying to present evidence. And later it comes out, as in this video, how McCain took extreme steps to prevent evidence held by the Pentagon from seeing the light of day.
Have despised the character ever since.

Mr. Trump probably has this information and intends to use it as needed. Would it not be a “great day” if finally McCain is outed as he has deserved all these years; outed before he dies and a memorial is created in his honor!
I have never thought he was a hero. One of my heroes is my late brother. He joined the USAF as a young teenager. He flew on bombers which flew through the bomb mushroom clouds when they were tested. He was the last one of his group to die from that exposure. Before he died he was taking over 20 different kinds of medicines for radiation exposure. He never, ever complained about the treatment he and other AF personnel received from the VA. In fact, he said when Desert Storm was going on that he would have been right over there except for his age. He had parts of both feet amputated due to that exposure. We miss him terribly. RIP Big Buddy. We love you.
The MIA issue is why Ross Perot hates McCain so much.
He told families of MIAs to eat their peas and shut up. Disgusting behavior for a "Hero" don't you think.
