I don't have to figure out "why". I don't have to figure out the mind of God. All I know is that we must be obedient to Christ, who, through the teachings of St. Paul, exhorts us to offer prayers for all men.
Think of all the time we wasted bug-tussling about this, when we could have been praying. (Me, too.)
Ill pray for you, too. Why, I don't know. Please do the same for me.

That’s why I’m a horrible Christian. I ask why. Fortunately, Christ died for me too and gave me his sinless life to hold up as my own. Again, I don’t know why. But, I still ask.
