See, you are just being wrong-headed about all this.

A "fetus" that is one minute away from beginning the transition down the birth canal hasn't had that special switch thrown yet that allows it to feel pain.

The scientific theory is that once their lungs fill with air, all of their nerve endings are instantly and simultaneously activated, and then they feel pain, and are considered a person at that point.

Actually fetuses don't become persons until they become able to vote a straight Democratic ticket.

This status begins at age 18 and ends at death, except in Chicago and some parts of the northeast, where it can continue practically forever.

It’s a fact that “fetuses” respond to outside stimuli while in the womb.
