My father was an Army infantryman in WWII. N. Africa, Italy, & Germany. - Had awful shell shock the rest of his life. - Once said before he died in his eighties, “I just don’t understand it. There is ENOUGH of the necessities in the world for EVERYBODY. Why must people fight & go to war?” - He was tough & shot back when the Germans shot at him! Saw so many HORRORS in that war, including the concentration camps. I don’t know how anybody comes out of combat with their minds intact. - But, he came home & went to work & did his part. - I think he would be so sad to see what Obama has done to this country.

Your father’s service was a great sacrifice and I’m sure he saw it as just something that was the right thing to do. Thank God for him and the others like him.
