Trump's proclivity for verbosity and pomposity seems to have bit him back big time with quotes that surely make him look bad and certainly must embarrass him.

So what, Charleton Heston and Ronald Reagan use to be Democrats. These videos look like they’re from 20 years ago. Plus the guy runs his business from the liberal sewer hole of the east coast New York city. If you’re surrounded by slugs you’re not going to want to come across as a salt salesman. And I just love that they got Al Sharpton question someones credibility.
He’s damaging conservative Republicans. I’m sure Bush isn’t losing any sleep over Trump. Puts him in the driver’s seat.
There’s no comparison to Reagan. Reagan put in decades of work towards consetvatism. Reagan had a philosophical underpinning and wrote about his beliefs. Reagan did a lot. He didn’t just yell out a few phrases and make a bunch of confused dtatements.

I don’t care if he’s secretly a spotted dog. I’m still waiting for a “Republican” to step up and take a stand in both deeds and words. If they can’t or won’t, then may Donald devour them.
Yes, Trump is surrounded by slugs and he is one of them. You wouldn’t make this excuse for Romney or Christie or any other RINO so don’t make it for Trump.

Here’s the thing. Every liberal who has intelligence eventually becomes conservative. Reagan woke up, why not Trump?
That may be, but I like what Trump is saying.
What issues is he conservative on? And how can he be trusted. He’s said before he identifies as a Democrat.
(And, as far as acting skills, Mister Trump is somewhere between Jane Fonda and Barbara Streisand.)
