Trump is a meteor candidate. He will burn brightly for a short time and then fizzle out. But he has transformed the campaign for good, and I think in the end, Cruz will be the big winner because of it.

"No, Donald. No, you're not. "
Nobody with a functional mind believes Donald Trump is a conservative.
But, he's likely a winner.

It’s a little early to be assuming that you are so far ahead that you can start courting the moon bats.
On the other hand, jumping on a one liner like a dog on a bone is about all the GOPe has left. They can just hope that nobody has ever heard one of their capitulation speeches. Having a heart is not “compassionate conservatism”, /aka/ liberal big government publicans excuse to support liberal causes.

No. Walker is a RINO. Cruz is a true Conservative. It would be like Reagan/Bush and we don’t want to repeat progressive Republicanism after Cruz implements his conservative policy.
Cruz needs to pick another small gov Republican...Walker isn’t that.

There was always medical for the destitute. It exists now, so you dump Obamacare, leave medical for the destitute and uninsurable and privatize the rest with an eye on insurance company's profit margin.

Then ..it was COMPASSIONATE
Cruz got it right COURAGEOUS
Trump trying to play nice (don’t do it) WITH A HEART.
IF TRUMP KEEPS TRYING TO BE NICE, HE WILL SEE HIS SCREAMING CROWDS TURN INTO SILENT BEADY EYED MICE.

We already have this. It's called MEDICAID. Hello, McFly! Why is this an issue?
Now immigration and healthcare -- THAT is an issue. That is because 91.4% of "refugees" we admit from the Middle East are on food stamps and Medicaid. Stop taking in these freaks who hate us and start caring for our own.

Trump is the perfect candidate for everyone - he's been a Democrat, a Republican & independent.
Tomorrow he will surely be something else. That's life when you have no clear political or social ideology.

Trump favors universal health care and he always has. He is no different than any other liberal in that regard. It is how he has always thought and he does NOT hide it. His supporters may ignore or deny it. But it remains a fact.

I agree with you both.
I agree with all THREE of you...and have said since the Trump surge started that two things are inevitable...A: the bright hot meteor thing and B: lack of true and deep conservative values would surface. C: the law of inevitability made both of these very clear...

“I’m a conservative with a heart”
OK. Those of us who pay for our own healthcare and don’t want to pay for the healthcare of `artists, musicians’ etc.—as we pay for their food, shelter, etc.—we’re heartless.
Thanks for reminding us, The Donald, why so many of us are cheering you on but also keeping in mind that you are not a conservative with a heart, or a conservative at all.
Just keep pounding the Uniparty on border insecurity, then shut the hell up and go back to counting your money.

I agree with that.
And if some people are determined for a government component, let it be the pre existing condition crowd. That could be paid for with the money saved by not propping up the failing state exchanges and wouldn’t force any of us to lose coverage and doctors we like!!!
