...ah, perhaps the first step towards “compassionate conservatism” on Trump’s part. I wonder, if like Bush and Rove, he means that normal average conservatives don’t have any compassion....

Would like to see what this would look like. Private sector solution and getting rid of a federal program? Never mind......

We had free health care for the poor before Obamacare and we still have it...it’s called the emergency room.

Donald Trump: Im actually a conservative' No, Donald. No, you're not.
To: All
I often wondered how Donald got three gorgeous women to marry him. Then I saw
this pic of Donald. When The Donald flashes that smile...what woman could say no?

Frankly, I felt a bit weak in the knees, myself..... looking at that pic.

Been there. Done that.

Me too.
Conservative with a heart.
Translation: I need to take your hard earned money and give it to someone else.
We should all take this as a BIG WARNING SIGN.

I like that Mr. Trump pointed out that people had plans they really liked before Obamacare, and now they’re stuck with horrible plans and they are paying five times as much for them. A point that needs to be hammered.

W/ Donald at the top of the polls, other candidates are reacting unfavorably:
Hillary is ordering double-duty Depends.
Bernie Sanders is burning copies of Das Kapital.
John McCain is GOPeeing all over the Senate.
Lindsey Graham is having fainting spells.
Chris Chrisie is wasting his lapband w/ compulsive eating.
George Pataki is up in Dannemora looking for an escape route.

What it looks like is one thing. What it sounds like is another. What is sounds like should at least be a tiny sonar ping on your conservative sensor.
Think: Would Reagan ever feel the need to say he’s compasionate? Would Cruz? Would any TRUE conservative feel the need to say they’re compassionate? NO.
A true conservative knows that conservatism IS compassion.....and doesn’t need to add the word in front. This will be looked at in months as the first loose thread being pulled......

He is a loud mouth publicity whore with a record of donating to Democrats. Current bloviations are no indication of future performance.
But we can hope...

Conservative with a heart.Translation: I need to take your hard earned money and give it to someone else. We should all take this as a BIG WARNING SIGN. As you can see with my original posts, I totally agree, and this was my exact take. The unraveling begins....and with a twist....that he can "negotiate" our health care problems away. Nothing like a conservative...with a heart and ego.....

Trump is a meteor candidate. He will burn brightly for a short time and then fizzle out.
We need a serious candidate to beat the Hildabeast.
Scott Walker or Ted Cruz.
To: SeekAndFind
Uh-oh. I think we had one of those a few years ago. He won a necesary war and then got bogged down in hearts-and-minds crap, setting the stage for Hussein's debacle.
He instituted a massive givaway of our money to increase the prices of drugs while giving a limited class of people a discount. He threw a tremendous new bale of hay on to Education. He has a heart. We don't need hearts, not even when they are "in the right place." We need a president whose brain is in the right place. That is doubly important now that Congress and the Court have abdicated from their Constitutional powers in favor of the Executive and we are going to vote next year for a Dictator, like it or not.
