Yep. Trump was wrong on this. I don’t like it. But I like a lot of other things he says. I hope he rethinks his position on this.
The problem is, he’s a loose cannon and he’s in it for himself.
There are others throughout history who rallied the masses with this kind of appeal.
Trump isn’t alone in decrying the problems on the border, but while his “lighting a match” in such a volatile way may release a lot of pent up frustration and anger, in the end he will move on to the next act.
Because, as he is so willing to tell everyone, he’s rich and he’s smart and he has all the answers.

The cartoon contest was OK with me but I can see where rational people could disagree on this issue. So I’m not going to hold it agains’t Trump if he thought it was juvenile.
We have big issues to worry about. This country is circling the drain.
