Vince Flynn was a great guy. I loved his books.

I do too...kind of a guilty pleasure...the dialogue is weak in spots, as are the politics, but the stories are awesome and his knowledge of everything from special forces to CIA dark ops and all the tools and gadgets and capabilities is just astonishing and reading about those are habit forming. The books are formulaic, but that's fine, because that formula was why I read all 13 of them.
