This is the way banking elites run the world.

Countries are like credit card customers. They cut benefits and raise taxes under “austerity” so regular debt payments (credit card payments) can be made while continuing to increase their national debt (national credit card limit)

Heck, the United States keeps increasing its debt ceiling too because credit ratings agencies say it will hurt the country’s credit rating if they don’t.
