Donald Trump isnt afraid to say what needs to be said. Now the billionaire, television personality and presidential aspirant has a straightforward message for Christians.
The Christians are being treated horribly because we have nobody to represent the Christians. Believe me, if I run and I win, I will be the greatest representative of the Christians theyve had in a long time, Trump said in a recent interview.
In the midst of persecution in the Middle East by Islamic extremists and persecution at home by liberals who would take away the freedoms of religion and expression, Christians need a champion. The other U.S. presidential wannabes have largely failed to address directly the state of Christianity in the world. Trump is filling that void.
In the same interview, Trump criticized the Obama administration for its anti-Christian immigration policies. He exposed Obama for allowing Muslims who live in Syria to come to the United States while blocking the Christians in Syria.
I learned this weekend that if youre a Christian living in Syria you cant come into this country. Yet, if you are a Muslim living in Syria, who are not under attack, they can come in. We have Christians being beheaded all over the world by ISIS. In Syria and in Iraq, in particular, those Christians cant come into this country, he said.
And with such comments, the Trump bandwagon continues to take on passengers. David Brody of CBN is encouraging evangelicals to support the business magnate.
Trumps ability to cut through the clutter and paint the world in absolutes attracts quite a few evangelical voters. Remember, evangelicals hold true to their biblical absolutes, so to see a person like Trump let it rip and tell it like it is becomes a somewhat endearing quality to some evangelicals. Trump takes hits for his boldness, and evangelicals take hits from society for their biblical boldness, too, stated Brody (H/T Shoebat.com).
In other words, while other candidates hem and haw, afraid of saying something that might antagonize potential supporters or raise the ire of a biased media, Trump blasts ahead and lays it on the line.
He may not be the most eloquent speaker, but Trump is capturing the imagination of Americans. That has made him an early front-runner in the race to the White House.
If you are inspired by Donald Trumps willingness to reach out to Christians, please share this article with others on Facebook and Twitter who believe Christianity has been disrespected and minimalized by Obama in particular and liberals in general.

The reason that the world will receive the coming world ruler (referred to as the Antichrist is scripture) is due to a great delusion sent from God himself. They will be unable literally to understand the truth but will actually embrace the worldview toward Israel and believers.
“And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth”
(2 Thessalonians 2:11-13)
Why? because they had no pleasure in the sound of the gospel when it was being preached . . . they rejected the notion that the could not “work” their way into heaven and chose to refuse the free grace of Christ’s death on the cross.
If you cannot right now say with an absolute certainty that if you should die this moment you would be in the presence of Christ - then you are unsaved (generic you, of course).
If folks are unbelievers in the biblical plan of salvation they will rise up against Bible believers and their congregations.
And yes, I expect to be flamed - but that is the price of belief in the settled Words of the Bible.
I’ll save time and respond to your likely rejoinder . . . “What? do you believe that Donald Trump is not a Christian?”
My answer . . . anyone that is born of the blood of Jesus Christ and led by the Holy Spirit of God will not sanction the murder of the unborn through abortion.
That is my litmus test.
I’m not saying that are aren’t other ‘tests’ but this is the one that stands out with folk such as Trump and Condi Rice, et al.
Conservative views are not one’s ticket to heaven . . . only the finished work of Jesus Christ on the Cross.
Our fore fathers of this country were all very rich and then became politicians. The a$$holes who run for office now are poor and become wealthy off of all the lobbyists, etc... So then the rest of us saps keep getting poorer for all their poor business decisions.
He needs to start saying that he would change the way children are being taught in school. Like saying he would start educating them instead of indoctrinating them with social BS!

Yes - I want to hear that from both Cruz and Trump. We’ve had 3 generations of indoctrination now - we must start educating rather than indoctrinating. Love that phrase!
Are you a presidential candidate? I have been saying this since Roe Wade but I am not running.
First of all, I am NOT a Catholic, and was merely making a joke - which seems to have escaped your prune face. There are, however, many Catholics on this site, and it was meant for them. Your point is ludicrous if you believe that I think Jesus is less - HE is the Son of the Living God. You missed the point entirely - God uses humans to do His bidding. Got that? Do you believe that Jesus intervenes personally in every situation? He does answer our prayers, but, does so through others. That’s why we are called the body of Christ. The hand cannot say to the foot - I have no need of you, etc. Read your Bible and you will find out what I’m talking about. Shame on you - your ignorance is fully on display on how the Lord works in the lives of humans. Did God Himself go to Pharaoh and tell him to let His people go? NO! He sent Moses and Aaron. Did God Himself throw the slingshot that brought down the giant, Goliath? NO! He used David to accomplish that. Read your Bible, and perhaps you won’t be so ignorant the next time you jump in on a thread.
God is not now nor has He ever been silent on this issue, He predicted it.
1Sa 8:5 And said unto him, Behold, thou art old, and thy sons walk not in thy ways: now make us a king to judge us like all the nations.1Sa 8:6 But the thing displeased Samuel, when they said, Give us a king to judge us. And Samuel prayed unto the LORD.
1Sa 8:7 And the LORD said unto Samuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected Me, that I should not reign over them.
1Sa 8:18 And ye shall cry out in that day because of your king which ye shall have chosen you; and the LORD will not hear you in that day.
I am not judging Don’s faith, however, he ain’t no theologian.
Does he have someone reading Free Republic?
Just like everyone else, lying scumbag lawyers that have avoided every case that might reveal their true nature.
God bless him for his effort.
1. Ted Cruz 6%
2. Scott Walker 8%
3. Mike Huckabee 4%
4. Rick Santorum. <1%
Trump 17%
Bad mouthing everything Trump is not helping Cruz one bit.
Pull your head out of the sand!
No need to talk with people that way. Woefully ignorant ..... that sort stuff.
People disagree. It’s not necessary to have discussions like that. In fact, it turns people away from your point of view.
