PHOENIX -- The Maricopa County Board of Supervisors voted Wednesday to settle a lawsuit involving Sheriff Joe Arpaio.
The suit, originally filed by the Department of Justice in 2012, claimed Arpaio's office retaliated against critics of his immigration enforcement policies and county officials and judges who were at odds with the sheriff in legal and political disputes.

Retaliation. I am sure McCain is involved.
I like Sheriff Joe from all the information I have read...I don’t see where he has done anything wrong...I wished we had more like him around our Great Country....
I’m sure Sheriff Joe is going to come out with some earth-shattering info soon.. like about five years ago.. again.. because.. earth shattering.
“... claimed Arpaio’s office retaliated against critics of his immigration enforcement policies and county officials and judges who were at odds with the sheriff in legal and political disputes.”
What exactly do they mean by ‘retaliated’ ?
Do they mean he ‘criticized’ them ?
Probably Whirly Taitz stuck her finger in and hosed up the whole deal.
Idiot whore, she.
Sherrif Joe Ping
He started investigating them. Evidently nobody told him that criminal collusion by Democrats is allowed.

Gutless worms. The county should be sending out investigators and bureaucrats to harass and arrest the federal fascists infesting the county. Throw a few of these federal pigs in county jail and watch the rest of them run.
Same here. I know a kid who spent some time in a tent down there wearing pink...He said he'll never do that again. We could use a Sheriff Joe in every county.
The investigations led to allegations which were ultimately dismissed for lack of evidence. The following lawsuits cost the county several million dollars.
When inmates complain about the tents, food, etc. he tells them that if they don’t like it there, don’t come back. Pretty simple.
