Obola’s motive is to cement his legacy with the radical Islamists around the world as “the one” that gave them their “great victory” over the west. It has nothing to do with his legacy here except as a reminder of how he was able to defeat the west from within.

He has set this up in the press conference so that he wins no matter what Iran does, even if they get a bomb in a few years or at the end of the agreement. The media was largely quiet and compliant. He also keeps pushing the meme that the only alternative to diplomatic talk is military force.
