I believe it was “Mr. Bush I paid for this microphone!”
RR came to visit the Ramada Inn (remember those?) across the street from the hotel I worked at. We saw him come out the front door.
This was waaaaaaaaaaay back.
When America was a different place.
“I paid for that damn microphone!” He got his microphone.
Memories we all have them and some are even true. I watched that event and could swear that both of you have it right. :)
