Actually Cruz has been just as honest as Trump...just not quite as flamboyant. And Trump has a huge amount of name recognition.
What I don’t see mentioned regarding Trump is that he is a television veteran. It’s not name recognition alone, or even being recognized for tough-minded truth-telling (and self-promotion), which is also part of it. It’s that he knows how to talk in the cadence that reaches the mass-market, reality-TV audience, and he’s talking about policy. It’s a devastating combination. If he’s running, he will bring in lots of people who don’t usually vote. Or think.
If there wasn’t so many turd world imports in NY and NJ I believe if given the chance the majority of real Americans would vote for Trump along with many crossover votes. These states would support one of their own tough talkers, common sense kinda guy. Not enough to tip the scales though-—too many morons but there’s always a slim chance.
Maybe Trump ought to start buying airtime. Run ads telling voters his solutions.
The left and RINOs would go NUTS.
> “And an honest person is intolerable amongst thieves.”
This should be repeated over and over again.
Cruz should have no problem being in the top 10, in fact, it looks like Carly will be top 10 too.
The top 10, more or less as I’ve kept up with most polls seems to be:
http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/latest_polls/president/
Ballpark range, not exact:
Leaders:
Trump
Bush
10% range per some polls:
Walker
Carson
Paul
Huckabee
Rubio
Next level:
Cruz
Fiorina
That is 9 candidates, leaving the 10th position open for these folks:
Perry
Santorum
Graham
Pataki
Jindal
Kasich
Too bad the real clear politics poll does not show HRC being beat nationally, in Michigan or NH yet. Though, the polls are older, surely, Trump might come out on top with all of the publicity he is garnering.
Could Trump even flip NY or NJ or other Eastern States??
