Okay, then what you are in effect saying is that you don’t want anyone with practical business experience. Strange...

I said no such thing. I used Peter Fitzgerald and Ron Johnson as examples where it worked out well. It comes down to values. Mike Bloomberg knows how to meet a payroll. He also wantsto tell you that a half litre draw of soda is too much at the 7-11. The second trait is completely unrelated to the first. Being a successful businessman is a plusbut not sufficient.

Numbers USA Apparently didn’t read the section of Cruz’s immigration policy that supports reduction of legal immigration.

Cruz wants legal immigration reduced, but the immigrants that do come should be highly skilled and able to contribute to society.

Walker took on some unions. Those that supported his election, he left alone.

He created WEDC that has wasted millions of dollars and not produced jobs. The legislature removed him as Chairman last month. Not even the GOP defends the mess at WEDC and it is now in the hands of the D.A.

If you look at where Wisconsin is ranked nationally in new business start ups, 50th, private sector jobs growth 38th, 44th in salaries, something is wrong policy wise there.

Wisconsin is losing its middle class faster than any other state. In May Wisconsin lost more jobs than any other state.

This is why Walker has a 41% approval rating and it may go lower due to the attempt to repeal the open records law that just occurred.

That is the sad fact. The low information voter is legion during presidential election years.

Remembered your post after I saw this in an article today. Walker bought his motorcycle in 2008. It was a 5 year old 2003, Road King. It currently has 6,333 miles on it. Even if it had 0 miles on it when it was five years old, that is only 900 miles or so a year.

Thanks. That’s not much, probably average for the weekend warrior.

Walker walks the walk. He has a record of achievement including making WI a right to work state. He withstood a massive infusion of money and out of state activists who tried to topple him in the recall election. They used every dirty trick possible. 41% approval in a solid blue state is not bad. He got things done. There is no need to tear Walker down. It does nothing to enhance Cruz. Both are real conservatives.

Also, the Dem GOTV operation is second to none, including fraud.

Well, Cruz is a real Conservative. Walker, not so much. He has been extremely reluctant to stand up on social issues. I do not believe that Walker would repeal Obamacare.

I am waiting to hear what he does propose doing as President, since I have heard nothing about that so far.

I agree with the premise. I’m not convinced it applies here.

I know very little about Trump. I think most people don’t know much about him. He’s brash and I believe a narcissistic, but most successful people are to a certain extent.

Narcissism and a perpetual drive make these people the successes they are. Being a recessive person, you don’t accomplish what Trump has. It kind of goes with the territory. Look at Rush. I’ve never seen him down. I view Trump that way.

Trump has jumped in. In upcoming months we’ll learn more about him. Is he going to stay the course? I don’t know. He may or may not. He’s already done a lot of good just putting topics on the table.

The fact is, he has operated in a high finance environment. He hasn’t had total successes. He’s had loses too along the way. I think he has experience that could be useful to the nation.

I don’t honestly think any of the other candidates understand the world of high finance. They may have a conceptual understanding, but this is a guy that has had hands on for decades. He’s the real deal.

The financial shape our nation is in today, we need someone who has this capability and experience.

It may work out that Trump is not the guy we need. For right now, I want to sit back and see what jells.

He has been great on social issues. And on immigration, he gets a B- compared to C for Cruz and C+ for Trump.
