Well, this is getting kookier by the moment.

BUT...according to the article it has to do with the University of Kentucky wanting the land. Nothing to do with his service with the Confederacy. (Although that would be sad as well.)

What a sad place we have come to in our history.

Yes I’m quite sure the only reason they dug up his body was so UT could have the land. I’ve been following this story since the mayor first proposed it and there has never been any mention of the land being sold the the Univ of Tenn., until now.
