1969 offshore in the oilfields of South Louisiana, we had two black men that were working on the rigs. The only reason they had these high paying jobs is discrimination against them was coming to an end. I liked those two men and they worked hard as all of us did in the oilfield. They were brave men and good men and got a chance to be what they wanted to be. That is the way it is supposed to work.
I wish I knew where they finally wound up it life, but I am sure it was good.
I will never forget what one did. The crane operator hated them for the fact they were black and he was their boss. He was always hollering at them and doing everything he could to make their life miserable. He was an asshole, a complete and total asshole he was. He was trying to make them quit.
One of them could no longer take it anymore. He ran up to the crane cage and grabbed the operator and told him, "I will work for you and do anything you say but This holler shit has got to stop!
The real irony is that both of them were good men and one was living in the past, that is thankfully gone.

By the author's arguments, Blacks will also always be plantation slaves - they can't seem to help it.
I suppose that using the same blanket approach as the author makes me one of them racists he carps about...

Is it because Whitey McCracker-Honkey keeps winning the race for success and others are jealous and envious of that?

It’s not about race in the USA, it’s about culture. If your culture doesn’t acclimate properly with American cultural values, if your culture belongs in a Petri dish, generally we will treat you that way.
There has always been a historically consistent way of dealing with @holes. Why would it be any different in the USA?
