Yes. This is the kabuki theater. The Corker bill means unless Congress passes a law and Obama signs the bill disapproving the Iranian agreement the deal is de facto binding. Congress sees the agreement and will vote on a law disapproving the agreement. Both houses approve the resolution disapproving the agreement. Obama vetoes this bill. Enough Democrats will not vote to override the Obama veto therefore the Iranian agreement sticks and Obama can lift sanctions, etc.

The only reason I can see for GOPe agreeing to this kind of travesty is so that Republicans don’t get tagged as racist for scuttling Obama’s priceless legacy. Profiles in courage all around.

...Or, the deal is so bad that even a tame congress will vote it down and override the veto. After which, probably following an Israeli strike or ten, the mullahs will go whole hog (intended) on their “Great Satan”, "America lied to us so join up and fight today" campaign.
