There was a time when both the threat of punishment and my own integrity kept me from doing wrong. However, as I have come to believe there is no loss of integrity when wronging a gangster (aka the US government), it is only fear of punishment that gives me pause.
Of the two factors, it was the integrity that was by far the strongest.
