Enemy territory? No problem; Ted Cruz schools Chris Matthews in MSNBC interview

Ted Cruz must be getting used to unfriendly territory.
After the Texas senator and Republican presidential hopeful took his case against illegal immigration to the Hispanic-oriented network Univision — and sparred with activist host Jorge Ramos — Cruz was at it again in a 16-minute-plus MSNBC interview with the ever-combative host Chris Matthews.
And Matthews never laid a glove on him.
In the Hardball with Chris Matthews interview, Matthews hit Cruz on a laundry list of subjects — Donald Trump, former Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel, the U.S. Supreme Courts recent decisions on Obamacare and same-sex marriage, normalization of relations with Cuba — in the hosts usual contentious, staccato style.
Through it all, the senator remained cool and collected as he made his way through the confrontation in Cruz control.

What these lamestream media knuckleheads don't seem to get is, Ted Cruz went to Harvard Law, where over 90% of both the faculty and the students are hard left liberals, So he had plenty of opportunity to debate some of the best/smartest left wingers on the planet, over and over again and almost always came out on top. There is nothing pinheads like Katie Couric and Chris Metthews can throw at his m that he hasn't debated and won before. He knows and understands his enemy very very well.

Chris Matthews. . .no wonder I never watch this blathering idiot.
I could not have stayed there with that braying jackass with any of the calm patience and coolness of Mr. Cruz.
Impressed with Mr. Cruz’s demeanor.

I think Chris Matthews is a disgusting political hack with no integrity. I don’t think he’s stupid though, and this mentality does a disservice to our side by underestimating our poltical opponents.
Just look at the way he constantly interrupted Cruz. There was a rhythm to it. Every time Cruz builds his case and is about to make the ultimate point that he has done all the preparation for, Chris sees it coming and knows that it’s a winning point, and totally interrupts and filibusters him, before blithely changing the subject. The audience never hears the devastating point that Cruz has skillfully built up.
Interviewees should call him out on it directly when they see it. It is quite effective until then.

Listening to Matthews makes my head hurt.

Matthews never shuts up to allow a complete answer and Cruz still did great.

I just compare Cruz and his smooth handling of the press with Hillary’s hearings on Benghazi where she finally screeched what difference does it make now? I needed a good laugh.

About the recount (fifth). The State Supreme Court approved a recounting scheme where only democrat areas would be recounted... The Supremes said you can not pick out only one party’s areas to recount; you have to recount the whole state. They did not have time to do the whole state...because they had already recounted four times.
