What difference does it make? The whole country is a sanctuary for them.
Jeb’s finger my friend
Is moistened in the wind
Jeb’s finger is
Blowin’ in the wind
I thought sanctuary cities were “acts of love” toward criminal alien vermin.
Jeb (the man with no last name) had better watch out. He may be excommunicated from LaRaza.
America needs to start enforcing the immigration laws we already have on the books before the idiots on Capitol Hill are allowed to create more of them.
More pandering by Jeb. If he sees something that’s popular he’ll jump on that wagon.
How generous of Jeb...
Jeb,
The first order of business is to build the wall.
In your rush to appease your corporate cheep labor masters, you failed again to comprehend basic the need for national security of the people.
Maybe you should work more hours... away from politics.
Ed D
“The whole country is a sanctuary for them”.
You hit the nail on the head, Muddog. He would prefer not “smaller” areas but an entire country that is a sanctuary.
Bush’s advocacy has helped turn the entire U.S. into a “sanctuary” for illegal aliens.
“I thought sanctuary cities were acts of love toward criminal alien vermin.”
Right. Jeb and his wife should be offended by... Jeb’s comments?
This is getting so confusing.
WOW! What a BOLD leader.
Maybe because a certain Mr. Trump has been breathing hard on Jeb this week?
Jeb supports illegals, illegals stick their hands in to the pockets of Americans by taking our money in the way of health services, school services, etc. In essence they are parasites on our local, state and federal treasuries. This is pretty much what the entire Bush family has done for decades and now generations. Not exactly the same but they have lived off government and their connections to government. So why would it surprise anyone that any of the Bush family supports illegals that are parasitic and prey upon this country? It is the Bush family way, live off the government.
This is such a straw man argument.
Someone who legally enters this country (via a passport or visa) and overstays the limitations of that visit are here illegally, yes. But they are a known entity. The government knows they are here and if they are caught, there are repercussions in terms of fines, repatriation, problems renewing a visa, or even being declared persona non grata.
And that is a real problem now, especially for people from Europe and Asia.
But that isn't the issue that everybody is focused on. We are focused on border security, where we don't even know who is coming into this country. There are no visas or passports that get looked at and registered. There is no escalating scale of punishment for breaking the rules, in fact for many of these people, there is no punishment at all.
Bush knows this and he is purposefully conflating the issue of Visa overstays with people who cross the border without any controls. One is a law enforcement issue, the other is a national security issue.
It's the difference between someone who passes a bad check versus an armed bank robber.
He’s just afraid that conservatives might borrow the concept of sanctuary cities and civil disobedience to defy the Fed Monster on issuing marriage licenses to sodomites. “sanctuary cities” or sanctuary counties from sodomite “marriage”.
The scene from Tombstone comes to mind regarding sanctuary cities, “law don’t go ‘round here”.
That’s exactly what the democRats have brought us, laws don’t apply to some. It’s the start of anarchy, brought to your local neighborhood by democrats and rinos.
LOL
Bush went toe to toe with Trump and Cruz and blinked!
See ya Jeb!! we are not interested!
