Good analysis. Parent alienation is real. And the kids “love the one” that they are with. The one who feeds them and buys them clothes. Its the known versus the unknown. I had a case where mom was isolating and alienating the kids from my client and we got a change of custody order when she moved in violation of an order that she could not do so. She also lied about the location. We went with the sheriff and picked them up. Within 24 hours the kids were smiling and laughing with their dad. He has worked on letting them have a safe relationship with their mom. Life is good for them now.
I am happy for your client. I don’t know why in the world a parent would distance a child from the other parent... hatred, I guess. I have to also applaud your client working on allowing a safe relationship with the mom.
