Snap!
Early Morning to ya.
Mornin everybuddy!
Morning! Went to bed as soon as I posted.
Morning everybody!!
Morning Greg. Blah! Headache. Didn’t have my evening coffee last night. Pretty much guarantees a morning headache! Starting to go away.
DIL went to hospital. They turned the baby. He’s a kicker! I see football in his future! LOL! DIL was tired and sore. Glad I stayed home to help out yesterday.
Good morningnn’@!
So glad to hear the turning worked. DIL will be sore for a few days, thankfully she has help at your place. Haven’t heard from my daughter this am (I wait to hear from her so she can sleep).
Still having troubles (rain?) pulling in Quinn’s voice in the car some mornings, so I’ve started listening to an FM station out of Latrobe. WOAB( ?) they broadcast masses and do Catholic programming all day. There is a Program (reflections?) that starts at 7am, w/FR. Boniface, a monk at St. Vincent’s in Latrobe. Today he was speaking of the Chinese Martyrs of the Church and how faithful they were to spreading the Gospel. He went on to say how we, UP TO THIS POINT, have enjoyed great religious freedom in THIS country (that we probably took for granted). He went on to ask, how many of us will have the courage (like the Martyrs of the Church) to stand up against religious persecution in our nation. He beautifully worded it...his voice is calming (I’ve listened often), and they play Latin, a Capella liturgies around his commentary. Today’s show just spoke to me so given what is happening in the U.S. right now.
Several years ago, I attended a Latin Mass in the crypt church at St. Vincent. It was absolutely beautiful! Fr Boniface was the priest saying mass.
I’ll try that radio station. I wonder if they stream or have a podcast.
Oh yes! We listen to that station sometimes! WAOB out of Beaver Falls!
I have been to that Crypt (grotto?) as well! The Basilica at St. Vincent’s is stunning. None of my kids chose to go there, I wish I could have. They even have a planetarium.
I’ve been in the car driving so much this summer (my earliest start at work is 9am), that the Reflections has become part of my mornings (when I have to take son to work). I listen to Quinn then at home and Rose on way to work...so I have all bases covered before I start my work day. Lol.
If you’re home today, enjoy playing w/granddaughter:).
I think the Pens made some awesome moves they’ll definitely be in the hunt for the Cup this season.
Evening..glad things are going well. That’s a Grandma thing..
