The Obama administration on Wednesday will announce new rules requiring cities to look for racial bias in housing practices in order to promote racially integrated neighborhoods, the Washington Post reported on Wednesday.
The rules would further the work of the landmark 1968 Fair Housing Act, which made it illegal to refuse to sell or rent a home to a person based on race, religion, gender or national origin.
The Post said cities and towns now would be required to look for patterns of racial bias in local housing, report the results every three to five years and set goals on how to reduce segregation in housing.
Julian Castro, secretary of the Department of Housing and Urban Development, will announce the new rules on Wednesday in Chicago, the Post said.
"This is the most serious effort that HUD has ever undertaken to do that," the Post quoted Castro as saying. "I believe that it's historic."

Yeah, all you people who worked hard, got an education, started a business or got promoted at work, finally got a nice house in a clean, safe, quiet neighborhood with parks and good schools for your kids...you thought you'd be able to relax and enjoy the fruits of your labor? Guess again, racist. Our government thinks you need a little vibrancy. Soon you'll be hearing mariachi music blasted all night long. Your kids' school will become dangerous and ineffective. Your wife and daughter? They aren't going to be able to walk or jog through the 'hood anymore. And all those wonderful new neighbors were just
handed the right to live in the town that you worked so hard to be able to move into.
Enjoy!

I don’t call him ‘Barrio’ Obama for nothing.
That fits his goals to destroy neighborhoods( Barrio in spanish)he doesn’t live in.
To: re_tail20
So will white gay gentrifiers be allowed to paint their houses in the traditional Queen Anne-era colors of Venetian red, Spanish brown, lavender, and scarlet? It might make the neighborhood less attractive to racial minorities.

You'll love having section 8 housing neighbors. I understand that they're really into partying at 170 dB at 3:00AM, and or course since they don't work, they can come and share your stuff during the day when you're at work. And of course some of them are animal lovers - usually a couple of mean pit bulls that they let run loose day or night. And just because they don't work doesn't mean that they aren't engaged in commerce - usually small packages of dried herbs or white powders.
BO (before 0bama) You could have some certainty that if you picked a neighborhood based on values and prices that your neighbors wouldn't be at the far end of the cultural scale from you, but now, using your own tax dollars to buy property that the underachievers would never be able to afford (and have zero interest in maintaining) thanks to thee government you can have the thrill of living in da hood without ever having to move.

This is why I moved, after 45 years, from the Seattle area to my small farm in Central KY. It doesn't take much imagination to see where things were headed.
There is, on average, a quarter mile between neighbors here.

Does this mean that hillary clinton will be forced to move to Dearborn Michigan? or to Jersey City NJ? or Newark NJ? Will inhabitants of those cities be given a house NEXT TO hillary?
Obviously not. This is not going to apply to the ruling elite which gets to do anything it wants to at our expense, while scorning us.

So Obama is making new rules... again. Not his job. It’s good to be king, I guess.

My wife and went semi-Galt four years ago when we retired, moving from the big metropolitan city of Phoenix, Arizona, to 30 acres in rural north central Florida. A world of difference. Low crime, no traffic, open spaces, all conservative neighbors, etc.
Obama is continuing his promise to "fundamentally transform" the greatest country in the world, to a third-world, hell-hole where everybody is worse off. Don't say he didn't tell us what was coming. He did. Most people just weren't listening or paying attention.

Maybe Zero knows that blacks only riot and burn their own neighborhoods, so to get them to burn white neighborhoods he needs them living there.

towns now would be required to look for patterns of racial bias in local housing, report the results every three to five years and set goals on how to reduce segregation in housing. How can a town force whites to move into black neighborhoods? Can a white person simply self-identify as black or do the also have to register Democrat? Will Chinatown or little Italy have to reduce segregation? What about the culture of immigrants and the right to assemble and associate? How many homosexual NAMBLA types will be required to have houses in areas where families have lots of children, (it is illegal to discriminate on the basis of perversion)? Will the number of males to self-identified females be regulated or transsexual its in an area be assigned a quota?
It is certain that the Obama household will not live in the ghetto when he leaves the rainbow house, but I'm sure that the location of his retirement home in the Untied Arab Emeritus is exempt from his designs.
