While I believe Elijah was "taken up", I guess the pre trib-ers have a point, but haven't done any real research on it. I have known people who lived through Nazi Germany and saw many miracles done in that time. If the post trib thing is true, I fully expect the Lord to see believers through, though it will be hard. Thus the verse:
"When the Son of Man returns to the earth, will He still find faith?"
I believe the Lord knew each one of us would be alive this day, and so, He has given us all we need in terms of preparation and faith to meet its trials. It's kind of cool when you think about how loving God is, "every hair on our head is counted"
If we are indeed headed into the tribulation period, when the Bible warns explicitly against taking a "mark" or chip in your arm or forehead to be able to buy and sell as an "undoable deed" (possibly because it will alter our DNA?), we'll know soon enough about the Apocalyptic time table.
P.S. I always forget to mention that a type of terrible "global warming" is one of the plagues in the Bible, but NOT in the way the media pushes it today. It is part of the wrath of God coming down on the earth and the earth's leaders during the Tribulation.

I'm not sure whether or not the Establishment NWO elites are "gaming the bible" with global warming and their carefully constructed carbon credit economy based on climate change beliefs, but I've done cursory research on those actual "luciferians" who founded the UN and who are driving the Uniparty in this country.
(Think about George Soros. And then think about how John McCain is also friendly with Soros. And then think about what George Soros did during the war to aid the Holocaust -- and you get a small taste of the superior "spirituality" of our ruling Uniparty Elites).
Apparently, UN/NWO Elites read the Bible like a "code book" that only THEY with their superior supernatural understanding can understand. It's an arrogant elitism that misses the entire point: "Truly I say to you, except you be converted, and become as little children, you shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven."
But I do know those anti-sovereignty UN elites are really into their geomancy and other anti Judeo-Christian (i.e. anti-Christ!) beliefs. Their weird insistence that global warming is happening now makes no sense unless you factor into it some belief system outside our own.

As far as the Apocalypse goes, I believe it is RC Sproul who noted that he was persuaded the events described in the Revelation of Jesus Christ (also misnamed the Revelation of John) occurred during the years following the departure of Jesus and the destruction of Jerusalem. The anti-Christ was Nero and the slaughter of the Jews and Christians was the Great Tribulation. If this is so, there are no “end times” coming...just the end. Thoughts?
