Dan Hill writes interesting things about this in his new memoir, A LIFE OF BLOOD AND DANGER. In the early ‘60s, Hill was working undercover for the CIA as a mercenary in the Congo. He speculates that he might have unwittingly built the bomb that brought down Hammarskjold’s plane.
Really? Why now, Ban? Why don’t you use some of your personal fortune to finance the investigation?
He was assassinated by the Soviets, everyone knows it, everyone has known it since 1961. The real story is, why the sudden interest by the current, piss-poor Sec'y General? Thanks Brad from Tennessee.
