Cruz is acting like a man.
What is.... IS.... What ain’t ....... Ain’t...
What ain’t usually has a democrat source..
What IS seldom comes from a republican.... (but rarely does)..
Rubio called the comments “offensive and inaccurate”?
Why? He should have to defend his statements. Is it ethnic bigotry on his part?
The evidence is clear. The minute they step over the line illegally they have committed a crime and they know it.
Please Mr. “Republican” Rubio, tell us what’s offensive OR inaccurate. In so doing, expose yourself as the Leftist bigot and Spanish hegemonist that you are.
Very good article. I hope Trump last long enough for the debates.
I can see he and Cruz mopping the floor on these other clowns.
Cruz and Trump are doing the same thing: telling the truth.
For Cruz to throw Trump under the bus would be suicide. They’ve committed themselves to one path: Speaking truth, and letting the chips fall where they may. If either of them deviates from that path, or fails to support the other ... that one is doomed.
Precisely, and of course, Ted Cruz is the most brilliant of all, times one million.
So the author thinks Trump will drop out rather than lose money. Does he really think if Trump dropped out all would be forgotten? Not a chance. If anything the left would smell blood and redouble their attacks. Trump has spoken out for Americans against the globalist elites of the uniparty and must be destroyed as an example to everyone else. The only way for Trump to win is to win.
“For the most part, the response from 2016 Republicans to Donald Trumps comments about Mexican illegal immigrants has been uniform: tempered outrage.”
So much outrage that Trump is soaring in the polls. LOL! Cruz is smart enough to ride along. A rising tide lifts all boats.
Because its consistent with Cruz’s strategy.
I think it’s because Cruz thinks Trump is right on illegal immigration and the fence.
The GOP-e’s tempered outrage is to be expected —they’re of Uniparty.
Any threat to their cheap R labor and D votes is to be immediately neutered, as they have been.
Steve King, R-IA
-----
"When CNNs Chris Cuomo asked Rep. Steve King (R-IA) to respond on Wednesday morning to the comments that have caused so much business if not political trouble for Trump over the last couple of weeks, he did not hesitate to defend the presidential candidate. I would say to Donald Trump, I appreciate the scrappiness of him, King said of the candidate, When hes attacked by other people, he counterattacks and plunges forward and he delivers more facts to support the statement that hes made. Sometimes, King added, you have say things real plain instead of trying to be nice in order to get attention.
Repeating an argument Trump made in Iowa this weekend, King said that many of these kids that are coming into the United States from Central America are sexually violated and raped.
Id say in Donald Trumps defense, someones doing that to these kids that are being raped and abused, King continued. And, when theyre coming across Mexico, its a reasonable assumption to conclude the people doing that are Mexicans.

I think Cruz has a better understanding of the American people while the others are pandering to the establishment media.
So now one can’t criticize illegals. One can’t criticize muslims. The only people one can criticize is Christians and whites.
Whatever damage has been done to Trump’s financial interests is done and dropping out would likely make the damage worse rather than better. The best way to make minimize the damage is to run a good campaign and stay in as long as he is competitive.
And Cruz’s motives are probably first that he actually agrees with Trump, and then that treating Trump with respect will leave him in a good position with Trump supporters if Trump isn’t competitive early next year, or in a good position to be considered for VP if Trump wins the primaries.
And then there are all sorts of possibilities if no one wins the primaries and Trump and Cruz have both won some delegates to take to the convention.
This might be a year when the nominee is actually chosen at the convention and not in the primaries.
Im a Walker guy, and I think that Trump/Cruz would be the perfect team.
An unbeatable team that could guide America for 16 years, and beyond.
No way Trump is going to bow out, does anyone think that someone so focused on being a winner could even CONSIDER dropping out now, and go down in history as a LOSER?
No, he burnt his ships on the shores of America, hes now totally committed to fight to the death.
It’s going to be a beautiful fight, watch closely, we’ll never get to see something so good again in our lifetimes.
We’re living in an historical moment.
As far as I'm concerned, the rest of them either don't know how to listen, or they are in favor of illegal immigration.
