We entered a curve in the road and it started to rock. From then on each new tip was stronger than the last. It was like a harmonic resonance like the Tacoma Narrows bridge collapse.
Looks like the camper sacrificed itself to protect the cab. As I mentioned in my earlier joking post, we have tons of rollovers in NM (I saw a guy tip his car on it’s side pulling into a parking lot.) A good number of the fatalities are due to heavy objects inside the vehicle. I witnessed one near Albuquerque where everything would have been OK but they had a floor jack in the back seat and it killed the driver.
