So many things wrong with this sentence: A BMW? The mugger drives a better car than I do.

pistol-whipped with a gun? (isn't that redundant? Can one be pistol-whipped with anything other than a gun?) If SF didn't pretty much outlaw guns, maybe the photographer could've defended himself.
