Some 40% of union members in Michigan supported RTW and that includes many who didn't want to leave their unions. It has a lot to do with union leadership being socially liberal and wasting huge sums of dues money on democrats the members don't want. A lot of them were none too happy with the money that was wastes trying to unionize people who didn't want it down south.
