The solutions to lower health care rates and more coverage is more competition, more choice, and more providers. We are now getting less competition, less choice, and less providers.

If government doesn’t undo this (which is an uphill battle that requires a solid, unwavering conservative in the White House), we’re going to need an Uber-like disruption that works around the system.

“less competition, less choice, and less providers”

Everyone always forgets “less regulations”

Not to mention that no matter how much you pay in premiums there is no longer any plan that pays 100% hospitalization.

It disappeared overnight once the marxists nationalized health insurance.

No wonder the insurance companies love it.

Even the most expensive plans that used to cover your hospital stay 100% if you had a baby or an operation now require 2-3 thousand minimum out of pocket per person and up to 7000 per family.

This is after you pay 16-18 thousand in annual premiums.

I have insurance that I won’t use unless I’m getting a heart transplant or its a member of my family.

For anything else, I’ll tell them I’m an uninsured illegal.

The solutions to lower health care rates and more coverage is more competition, more choice, and more providers.

That's the solution to the high prices in everything. Yet nobody is talking about stopping airline mergers, phone company mergers, bank mergers, cable company mergers, or any other merger.
