txrefugee is right! The parents who funded the college eds are the real fools.

About your getting back the taxes you paid for k12...early retirement might help. Go galt, divest yourself of most assets, and apply for gov’t aid. If everyone did this, we could get to meltdown and rising phoenixes a lot quicker.

Radical yes, but I do believe a full disaster is now inevitable, and entirely deserved by the productive people who could have resisted more strenuously.

The parents who funded the college eds are the real fools.

No, the real fools are the millennials, borrowing huge amounts of money through student loans to live and finance an inferior college education in areas that are obsolete or pay nothing. They are unwittingly selling themselves into bondage to the government. Yet, they believe a bigger government is the only solution to their problems as they wallow in poverty and watch foreigners and illegal immigrants take their jobs and future from them.

The real "problem" is they will never achieve the success and financial rewards of the boomer generation like Hillary and others did. As they reach middle age and are still living on the government poverty plantation they are starting to wake up but it will probably be too late for them to recover.

I used to think the object of each new generation was to achieve a better life than the old one. No so anymore. If the millennial generation breaks even before they die, that will be their mark of success. And GOD help their children's generation for they will have inherited nothing from them but IOU's.

The older generations are living off their investments and "old money". Most have worked and paid their taxes, paid their bills and saved for a rainy day, and paid off their homes, automobiles, and their children's education via private schools and colleges. Most feel they have "raised" their children and done their part. They have hope they have given their children and grand children a better start to survive in today's world. So as the old generation dies, their moral and financial values, savings and sacrifices for their children, and most of the American dream go with them.

Of course I am not saying all millennials will fail, but I believe most will because they are not willing to accept responsibility for themselves. They believe that is the purpose of big socialist government and it's redistribution of wealth theory. They are bankrupt morally and financially. Some are looking for a "quick" solution when only time and effort on their part will resolve their problem.

If I have offended any millennials, I am NOT sorry. They need to get off their candy a$$es and use what GOD given talent or education they have in order to survive and restore greatness to America. Then they can be proud of their generation.

However, if the millennials continue to vote and elect socialist elites like Hillary and other "progessive" politicians, I don't see much hope for them and their children's future.
