Is it true that Marines are so tough that rather than use ‘Blue Ointment’ they shave off half the area, set fire to the other half then use the Kbar to stab the little critters escaping the fire?
I had r inguinal hernia surgery at USNH 3923 in 1959 and took several ‘souvenirs’. The problem was ‘compounded’ as I figured the ‘discomfort’ to be from the hair growing back in.
The aforementioned cure really does work...<: <:

The prescription I always preferred was scrubbing the affected area vigorously with a stiff wire brush and Betadine. It worked.

Sorry - I was talking about Pilonidal Cysts. As to crabs, I favor the use of a high intensity flame - Bunsen burner abetted by a high pressure oxygen hose.
