I think he’s got a shot.
One of his supporters informed me that she/he wants Trump to be vague and avoid talking about issue. If that’s the way he wants to run I’m forced to rely on his past comments supporting gay marriage, a woman’s “right to choose”, support for gun control and socialized medicine.
This author’s feeling about Trump are somewhat similar to my own......he’s bringing a lot of passion and necessary bluntness to the campaign - will help the entire process.
But he’s got a very troubling liberal Democrat past.....
Trump is for American jobs, and for real borders.
Those are bipartisan issues, and nobody else is saying a word about either of them.
Trump is right on. If supporting American jobs is pro-Democrat, then why is that?
Tell me this you numbskull....what good are “AMURKIN JOBS” if those Americans are socialist liberal union thugs by way of protecitionism?????? Are those really AMURKIN jobs?
Damn, expand your teeny mind.
Just saying.
For an entire generation we have been sending American jobs to China and elsewhere.
Now 93 million Americans are out of work. America’s trade deficit with China hit (yet another) record last year, of 342 billion dollars, and it is still growing. We have a massive budget overhang of over 18 trillion dollars. Yet nobody is saying what needs to be said:
American needs to bring back jobs.
Jobs.
Trump and Sanders appear to agree on jobs. (And probably more than a few other things)
Well said. Succinct and to the point.
WE haven’t been sending jobs anywhere....economies evolve. I know, you’ll never be smart enough to understand that concept, but it’s true and it’s bigger than any one man or any one government can control.
You, Trump and BERNIE SANDERS all peas in a pod
And that is why he will not get my vote
“WE havent been sending jobs anywhere....economies evolve.”

That is why we disagree. In fact we disagree on such a basic truth, that we are on completely opposite sides.
We disagree about gravity, temperature, and light.
Your side has been running America into the ground. Someone is going to stand up for working Americans.
It will be someone like Trump.
Or it will be someone like Sanders. It is our choice.
America needs to support, Americans once again.
Donald Trump says it like it is and takes no $h^t, certainly a breath of fresh air.
Money goes to where it is treated well and labor goes to where it is most profitable for the employer. The US HAS been sending jobs overseas, but not in the way the lefties mean. If politicians had the cojones (state and federal) to make more or all states “right to work”, eliminate many of the job crushing rules, regulations and taxes and got rid of the minimum wage we wouldn't send that work elsewhere.
These morons who fixate on free trade as the cause of America losing manufacturing refuse to accept that there could be American reasons for it. After all, China didn’t force us to tax companies into fleeing from America and they didn’t force us to impose ridiculous EPA regulations on those countries.
Those who scream the loudest clearly don’t understand how manufacturing works.
Here’s a candidate who needs defending. That doesn’t sound like a winner to me.
JD, correct - we have sent jobs away but not in the way Sanders means, or the way Trump means, or the way Trumps fan bois mean. Lot of phony conservatives, or ignorant conservatives, around FR lately.
YEP, every syllable correct...and sadly, LOT of those morons on FR.
I’m going to publicly throw down the gauntlet to you....either STFU or tell me WHY jobs are going overseas.
Get past your fixation on personality (Trump) and your what (jobs leaving) and do what adults do...try and analyze WHY????? So tell me why or shut up!
I would pay 5 cents more for American quality and a reduced unemployment rate and stop the destruction of American infrastructure.
But then again I am an America not one of the gloBULList pieces of < expletive deleted > that pollute Free Republic.
