“the man has zero chance against the dems because his self serving ambitions for presidency is obvious to most...”

Wrong. The people who will elect the next president will not follow politics and a huge number of both republicans AND democrats will vote for him.

He is probably the most electable candidate out there. The question is, would you prefer him or Clinton. With that choice, I would pick Trump.

I don’t believe in Trump so given that choice id vote third party. If this attitude is prevalent and allows Clinton a win, so be it. This nation is hanging over the precipice and if we don’t get the right candidate in office, id rather the whole thing fall apart so we can begin again.... It’s kinda like suck for Luck.

Whether one agrees with Obama’s speech or not, I do believe it was one of his better/more effective ones in terms of his audience.

“I don’t believe in Trump so given that choice id vote third party.”

That didn’t make a lot of sense... He’s running as a republican not a third party. I would like him or another candidate that adopts his positions on trade, jobs and immigration and with the balls to tell federal employees “your fired” to win the nomination.

That’s what the people want, both republican and democrat. The country is fed up with both the R’s and the d’s....

Does Trumpo know that if Obummer didn’t flame the Trayvon Martin case those 9 would most likely be alive right now? This psycho kid said he was set off by the Trayvon case. Granted it could have and probably would have been any other case, but the point being is we can do without psychos being prodded from the POTUS or anyone in government. We learned that from the Oklahoma city bombing.

We needed men like Washington & Jefferson before. We cannot begin again with the lowlifes we have now. We’ll end up worse than we are.

Ask one of his many supporters. They think he walks on water.

Which third party would you be voting for?

Since you are a Paul supporter, wouldn’t that be the libertarians?

Donald Trump recalls with chagrin that he supported Barack Obama for president in 2008, but says he now realizes that those moving hope-and-change speeches were nothing more than rhetoric.
”I was his biggest cheerleader,” the multibillionaire businessman told Sean Hannity on his Fox TV show Tuesday night. “If you go back three years, I’m saying, ‘Do a great job.’ I wanted him to do a great job. I still want him to do a great job.”

A few observations:

  1. Trump recalls [supporting 0bama] with 'chagrin'. I bet there are a lot of perfectly decent Americans who feel that way right now.
  2. He wanted to see the President 'do a great job'. Again, that's not an unreasonable attitude towards any new President.
There are many, many disillusioned Americans who no longer support 0bama. The winner of the next Presidential election might very well be the person who can most effectively tap this well of rage and disappointment in the electorate.

The fact is, Trump has cohones: he represents a candidate who expresses himself as the staunch individualist that he is, and who isn't afraid to ignore, and even challenge, contemporary "inside the beltway" political correctness which dominates Washington.

Trump is reminiscent in some ways of Ross Perot, in having a distinct disdain for engaging in phony political rhetoric, and also a tendency to just shoot straight and "tell it like it is" even when that ruffles the feathers of the PC crowd.

It's actually very refreshing, and think that if Trump can push back hard enough against these attacks by the Orwellian left-wing PC media propaganda machine, he might actually provide for some energetic national discussions which could potentially take place outside the framework of the one-party Establishment governing coalition of Tyrannical Marxist Ideologues, Corporatists, Nanny-Staters and their ilk.

I don't know that I'd like to see him win as yet, but I would like to see Donald Trump stick around for a while. We'll have a livelier national debate on at least some issues if he does. We already are.

Really? A lot of the members of the democratic party who supported Obama as democrats, and who supported Hillary Clinton for years, and who just told us weeks ago that Bill Clinton is his favorite president, and who are running now to control the republican party during the campaign against Hillary?

I don't think we see many of those kind of democrat who supported Obama.

Constitution Party. Rand isn’t a strict libertarian, he straddles between paleocon and libertarian and that’s fine with me.

Rand is pretty good for the rinos/libertarians, with his anti-social conservative, weak on defense views.

Paul disagrees with the GOP and the constitution party on abortion, and social conservatism, and national defense and the military. I don’t know why you want to push him, if you are really the constitution party/GOP type, instead of the libertarian/rino type.

Something doesn’t add up.

A thing that really bothers me about Trump is that he behaves like no other truly conservative man that I’ve seen in my life.

Conservative men, and conservative leaders in particular, are more gentle spoken and humble, not because they are weak by any means, but I think it’s because they believe in God. I could be wrong about that, but I don’t think so.

Trump strikes me as a man who believes that he is a god. I won’t go so far as to say that he believes that he is God, but his completely over inflated ego is very odd, and as a result of that, I do not trust this man.

Further, he hasn’t ever done anything for conservatives or the conservative movement or its agenda.

Something is not passing the smell test for me here.

Trump is no conservative, he is a man with a long liberal past. He claims to have changed but is he just saying what he needs to say to try to get your vote?

I am unaware of any conservative who has given 6-digit figures to the Clinton Foundation. Trump has.

I am unaware of any conservative who wants to ban "assault weapons". There is no such thing you know. "Assault weapon" is a term created by anti-gun liberals so they could ban guns based on cosmetic appearances...and Trump, being the liberal that he is, fell for it.

I am unaware of any conservative who has said they want to extend the waiting periods to purchase a gun. Trump has.

I am unaware of any conservative who has praised as "Brilliant" gun-grabbing leftist Michael Bloomberg for "Putting His Money Where His Mouth Is" on guns.

I am unaware of any conservative saying they "identify more as Democrat" like Trump has.

I am unaware of any conservative Republican running for president saying "the economy does better under the Democrats than the Republicans". Trump said just that.

I am unaware of any conservative saying “Bush was probably the worst president in the history of the United States.” Trump said just that.

Trump recently said ILLEGAL aliens can stay in America with amnesty as long as they are productive. How conservative is that?

I am unaware of any conservative saying “I’m very liberal when it comes to health care. I believe in universal health care.” Trump said just that.

Conservatives Rehnquist, Scalia and Thomas ruled against the Kelo Decision, which was the taking of a private individual's property, not for "public use" as is normally the case with eminent domain, but to give it to private industry as was done with Kelo (it was taken and given to Pfizer). Being the crony capitalist he is, Trump said he was "100% for it".

Trump will say anything to get the conservative vote. Many have fallen for his rude I haven't and I won't.

Does that remind you of anyone else who wanted to be president?

Sounds like you’re playing right into the Trump villification CNN spin. When Trump has no strong opinion either way, he takes the plain vanilla attitude. “So and so is a ‘nice guy’” and so forth, said with exactly zero enthusiasm. That’s just the way he operates.

Sure he does.

I honestly do not know how any conservative could support that. It boggles the mind.
