Just spent a few minutes googling various keywords.

Almost nothing after last August other than articles and blog posts referring to the Aug 24 articles.

So the indictment served its purpose, which is to smear a Republican over a minor issue.

Just like this - a first degree felony over not registering to help a friend get business? Serious legal overreach.

Especially since he was not paid for any work.

First degree felony is murder, rape, drugs, not an ethics violation which is all this really is.

ALL high ranking officials in government know how to “play the game.” You are right...there is no pay. However “under the table” business is red hot and on fire. Most in higher governmental positions play the game and proving that they received actual compensation for playing the game is nearly impossible.

The higher they get in office, the more profitable the game is.
