But the problem is, there have been times here at FR when people have posted stuff from The NY Times and they crow about how it hurts Hillary or some other Democrat.

So, we have people here at FR vacillating back and forth about how the NY Times is good, no they are bad, no they are good, no they are bad and on and on it goes.

The NYT was more balanced when Abe Rosenthal was editor. But, they fired him; and then he died. It's been a mess ever since. Always a shock if they publish an article, or express an opinion, that is not hard left.

Rosenthal was banished from the NYT in the late 90's, or before. First he became editor emeritus, and then became the editor for Jewish/Christian news. Although he was Jewish, himself, he had a magnanimous attitude toward Middle Eastern Christians. I always enjoyed his columns.

It was that Punch somebody who kicked him out.

Frankly....I've not seen too many FReeper's saying that the NY Times...was worth spit.

Can you name 5 or 10?
