Johnny Appleseed is the solution. Increase the vegetation in the North Pacific, especially near the rivers. Let lumber companies plant massive farms with planned harvesting belts that are quickly replanted with already half-grown trees. In the long run, tree farms are best for endangered species...and the not-so-endangered as well.
