Sorry, I know a lot of people here don’t care for Gov. Perry, but what exactly is wrong with his statement?

I’m not a fan of marijuana or the pro legalization movement, but stating that an individual state has the right to set their own policy, and the right to be wrong ... that’s constitutionally correct.

Ignore of course that SCOTUS eviscerated the 10th am last week with both major rulings... Rick is right on this one.

Perry got this 100% right. This does not have a damn thing to do with Federal Law. It is up to each and individual state to make their own laws so far as it does not violate federal law.

The real problem is where Federal Law as ascribed by the Federal Courts usurps State Law in direct violation of the Constitution. When this happens there is no law.
