Homosexual “marriage” was ALREADY legal in many states. What 5 rouge oligarchical tyrants on the SCOTUS did was to impose sodomite “marriage” on all 50 states, in violation of the 9th and 10th amendments, despite the wishes of the people as expressed thru their legislatures. This is judicial tyranny personified. Their ruling made scant reference to ANY constitutional foundation whatsoever, and deserves no respect other than civil disobedience.
The “negative repercussions” are to the constitution, the rule of law, and self governance.
