The government buys services from SpaceX. Like everybody else, they pay for the services. Your contention was they were subsidies. They aren’t. You were wrong.

Goverment contracts with campaign contributors is what is going on. Goverment dollars went to Tesla which in turn donated to democrats, who in turn saw that “contracts” went to Spacex.

And you are rather naive about how “contracts” and subsidies work. Reagan was for smaller goverment, not cronyism and under the table stuff like this.
