Dale Earnhardt Jr., NASCAR's most popular driver, says the Confederate flag is "offensive to an entire race" and should be removed from the grounds of the South Carolina Statehouse.
Earnhardt Jr.'s comments Friday followed an announcement NASCAR made this week backing South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley's call to remove the flag from the Statehouse grounds. NASCAR also noted that it bars the flag symbol in any official NASCAR capacity. Earnhardt backed NASCAR's position when asked about the issue before practice at Sonoma Raceway.

That may be exactly what’s going on, rktman. South Charleston was supposed to :tv voice: “erupt into violence”. I imagine the WH was absolutely livid at the reaction.
This business with the flag makes me wonder if the republicans (the governors, no less. So much for that) are on board with instigating civil unrest- & therefore, martial law.
I’m not sure this is bad. The flag protests, for & against, are getting coverage. It

Well, the Gay Rainbow Flag is offensive to a whole bunch of People including Christians and Muslims, so why was the White House lit up displaying it for all the World to see?

One crazy kid assaulted a bunch of innocent people; had one of them been armed, the damage might have been minimized.
