Oh I’m sorry. I guess I am tired. I though Walker was wimpy, too, but I don’t remember the specifics. I wrote him off a week or two ago when he said we should just focus on economics.
Howard Baker said that in 1981: said the economy was so weak there was no way to deal with "social issues" too. Then he called the modest tax cut a "riverboat gamble." They have been saying this ever since. Reagan turned to Baker to save his administration in 1987. Within a year Anthony Kennedy went to the Supreme Court. Few if any represent conservatives in Washington.
