Read an interesting take on gun control. The author postulated that such things as background checks, closing gun show loopholes, etc could be easily negotiated by reasonable men but for one reason. Because where the Left holds sway, they always go overboard in states like California, New York, Connecticut, thus they can never be trusted. You would have to be nuts to think that a final, reasonable system could be negotiated with an Andrew Cuomo. They will double cross you at the bat of an eye.
