With Ted Cruz, you've got the WRONG Candidate for your theory.

I didn't pick Cruz for "my theory" as you say. The world has done that for me.

These days I'm just an observer to the fall.

You'll notice I have not told you who to vote for or not to vote for, just the reasons for my opinion.

What I do know is that by your definition, Cruz is a Natural Born Citizen of Cuba, a Natural Born Citizen of the United States and a Natural Born Citizen of Canada.

In my opinion, this mixes definitions together and calls virtually any possible combinations and purities all by the same name.

This is a common sort of error running amok in our world, both part of, and a determiner of, our times.

Words mean things until they don't and I think I'll pass on rewriting the dictionary.

I like the old definitions better. They were actually descriptive and accurate, even if feelings got hurt.

what about in the “Laws Of The Nations”

The natives, or natural-born citizens, are those born in the country, of “parents who are citizens”. As the society cannot exist and perpetuate itself otherwise than by the children of the citizens, those children naturally follow the condition of their “FATHERS”, and succeed to all their (FATHER’S) rights. The society is supposed to desire this, in consequence of what it owes to its own preservation; and it is presumed, as matter of course, that each citizen, on entering into society, reserves to “HIS” children the right of becoming members of it. The country of the “FATHERS” is therefore that of the children; and these become true citizens merely by their “tacit consent”.

I say, that, in order to be of the country, it is necessary that a person be born of a “FATHER who is a citizen”; for, if he is born there of a “FOREIGNER”, it will be only the “place of his birth”, and “not his country”.

FATHER & MOTHER must be US CITIZEN, yes
but Natural born only follows a CITIZEN MALE.
Rafael Cruz was Not American Citizen in 1970.

and before you say it, Women do not have equal rights, see> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Equal_Rights_Amendment
