Bristol Palin just threw cold water on what's supposed to be a joyous occasion ... being pregnant.
Palin's in the early stages of her second out of wedlock pregnancy, and this time she's full on grumpy, saying she knows it will be "a huge disappointment to my family, to my close friends, and to many of you."
Bristol says she's "trying to keep [my] chin up on this one."
Sarah Palin's daughter was engaged to U.S. Marine veteran Dakota Meyer, but they broke things off last month. Bristol didn't say if Dakota's the dad.
Bristol was full of piss and vinegar, saying, "I do not want any lectures and I do not want any sympathy."
She famously had her son, Tripp, with Levi Johnston in December 2008. They broke up a few months later.
Yes. Face palm. If you are Sarah Palin with Bristol dragging you down how would you run for office. This girl is like the Ghetto black girls who have a different kid with a different dad every other year. Sadly this is kind of Kalut activity. Mr. GG2 used to live down the street from them. I feel sorry for Sarah Palin. maybe Dakota Meyers isn’t even the father. I remember the pics on the weekend they were supposed to get married. Bristol never even showed up and let her Mom do the dirty work. She was tweeting pix of her and her “extreme model” friend who looked like a pig. I’m guessing extreme porn star.
Um, I don’t get it. Lol
Yeh. I think you may be right.
I fear that while she is the latest, she still won’t be the last insincere spokesperson for “family values” to turn up.
It’s easy to do things, carried along by superficial culture, that your heart would not keep up if it was not thus carried.
I believe that this rot has at least one obvious purpose from the Lord’s point of view: It is to illustrate the vanity of believing in the world, even Christianized flavors of it. I’m not saying I know it all (I don’t) but the point is hardly new. C. S. Lewis made it over 50 years ago, and the bible has had examples of it for millennia.
That sword could cut both ways.
Sarah won’t fall into the Duggar trap, an apparent perfection that only fell when a secret flaw was exposed. The bible model of perfection is as a process being carried out upon rank sinners by a patient and all-providing God.
Yes ... that is what is happening and it’s a sad, sad state these children may find themselves in as they try to move ahead in our society.
It’s hard to be a parent when there are two of you in the house ... when there’s only one person ... dang ... not an easy path for parent or child.
I’ll keep my thoughts about the Palin family to myself. :)
You can fill the trailer with cash, but the occupants are still trash.
It’s a side effect of losing the divine view of humanity.
When we lose that view, we forget we’re here to play a bigger role, with a God to glorify (and also to care about us). We’re here, or so we think, to please ourselves. And I could easily point at myself in a mirror here. I’m no exception to this sad state of affairs.
This gal needs Christian counseling. The unfortunate part is she thinks she is a celebrity. God can turn things around if she puts her trust in Him.
“For the record, Ive been celibate for the past 32 years.”
Damn.
As in being counseled by the Savior... yes.
A lot of what goes on out there as Christian counseling is superficial. It’s better than nothing, but it does not always have a clear idea of its limits.
It's so much easier to talk the talk then walk the walk.
A little advice for you Bristol, first you date, then you marry, then you have children. In that order.
Yes she was doing the abstenince thing. I don’t care about the girl’s sex life. Everyone has one. But getting pregnant is really pretty irresponsible. Birth control is easy to get and easy to use.
I’m sure this is pretty embarrassing and humbling for her. It is what it is. Congratulations to her and she should work towards being the best mother that she can be.
Fathers are important, so perhaps Bristol can work whatever out with the father, if he isn’t an abusive man. They made this baby and now they need to grow up and get over themselves—it’s all about the baby.
She needs to listen to abstinence spokespeople.
Norplant, Bristol, Norplant.
Obviously not or we wouldn't be having this discussion.
Better an amended family than none at all.
Indeed.
